Melbray Racing Makes a Statement on the Mountain Course
Melbray Racing has made a serious impression at this year’s Isle of Man TT. Third fastest in qualifying, on their first attempt, against seasoned teams with years of experience? That’s not just promising—it’s remarkable.

Dom Herbertson Delivers
Dom Herbertson knows this place well. He’s raced the Mountain Course with grit and flair, but this time, with Melbray’s support and the number 13 bike beneath him, he delivered a lap that put the paddock on alert. Full commitment, deep confidence, and a machine that could keep pace. That combination landed them third in qualifying—an achievement that sets the tone for the week ahead.

All Eyes on Tuesday and Friday
Melbray’s TT campaign now shifts from promise to proof. The Super Twin TT on Tuesday is their first shot at converting qualifying speed into race results, followed by the headline Senior TT on Friday—one of the most demanding tests in motorsport. Two races, two chances to stake their claim on the Mountain. And based on what we’ve seen so far, they’re not just here to learn. They’re here to compete.

Classic Roots at Birch
While the spotlight is rightly on the TT this week, Melbray’s story runs deeper. Their stunning Manx Norton, a classic single-cylinder racer with genuine TT pedigree, is currently housed at Birch Gatwick. It’s an immaculately prepared machine—equal parts history and engineering—that speaks to the team’s respect for tradition as well as their modern ambition.

Storage with Standards
That bike’s presence at Birch isn’t accidental. Our facility is purpose-built for machines that matter—whether it’s a vintage TT veteran or a modern superbike prepped for the next road race. Climate-monitored storage, discreet security, and a level of care trusted by racers, collectors, and enthusiasts alike.
Melbray’s choice to house their Manx Norton with us reflects the same precision and trust they bring to the TT paddock.

A Confident Debut, and a Clear Direction
The team’s set-up, led by Simon Warren, is already drawing attention for the right reasons: sharp branding, meticulous preparation, and a quiet professionalism that belies their newcomer status. Third in qualifying is more than just a result—it’s a message.
This is a team with vision, execution, and real momentum.
